Losing Time

The essence of life can sometimes boil down to something as simple as just having time. Time to reflect. Time to think. Time to be. Recently I feel like I’ve had some time. The music that has come out of that has been very natural. It’s my belief that it means it’s being done right – not rushed and not compromised.

This recording of acoustic guitar is done with a partial capo on the 7th fret pushing down the A, D, and G strings. The song is written in D, but the tonic somehow feels it should be played lower. Hence the accompaniment of bass guitar, drums and a keyboard pad to help fill it out. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I had fun recording it.
